Welcome Letter for the New School Year 2023/2024
Dear Parents,
Thank you for enrolling your child/children for the 2023/2024 academic year at Achieve Academy. We are thrilled to have your family in our school community.
Throughout this school year, we will offer excellent academic programs tailored to meet each student’s needs, as well as enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, and opportunities for parent involvement. Please get involved whenever you are available, not only does it allow you to see the inner workings of our school, it also builds solid relationships and ultimately a strong community around your child.
We are currently finalizing the school calendar. Our provisional calendar can be viewed at https://www.achieveacademyinc.com/school-calendar
1. Payments and Fees
There are several significant payments necessary at the beginning of the school year, they are outlined below. Our website is set up to receive payments under the Tuition tab. https://www.achieveacademyinc.com/tuition
Please also set up your account for the monthly tuition payments at :
https://www.achieveacademyinc.com/tuition there is an option for the 12-month or 10-month payment plan.
2. Accreditation
We are using Wynfield Christian Academy schoolwide this year (except for PreK) to allow each student to receive an accredited transcript for their grade and to take advantage of their grading software which will allow you to check on grades and assignments throughout the school year.
The form for Wynfield Christian Academy is available here. Page 1, I will take care of #3 if you are a returning Achieve student and I will take care of #4 for all students.
They have given us an extension to submit our paperwork, so please don’t be concerned about the deadlines on the forms. Please return all the paperwork to me with a check or money order before the due date.

We are planning to offer an Achieve pant soon. The options for bottoms are uniform pants/shorts/skirts/leggings in any solid color. Ripped jeans, crop tops, and short shorts are inappropriate for school on any day.
Please order here: https://www.achieveacademyinc.com/shop
More shirt designs and pants will be added shortly.
4. Health and Safety Protocols
Doors to the school will be locked from 8:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Please text before arriving at the school between those times. We have scheduled monthly fire drills and regular severe weather drills during the school year. If your child requires medication administered during the school day, please complete this form.
5. Parent Committee
If you would like to be a part of our parent committee, the group that helps to organize school events, plan fundraisers, liaise with the teaching staff, and volunteer their time to Achieve Academy, please let me know.
6. Issues/Concerns
When problems arise, please make sure to bring them to the attention of your child’s teacher or to me immediately, so that they can be addressed the same day.
7. Communication
We will use the Band app to communicate. Please make sure to check it at least once a day. Try to respond to group messages with a like only because multiple “thank you’s” and “your welcome’s” send notifications to everyone’s phone.
8. Devices
Phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices may be brought to school, but they will be kept in containers before classes unless students are doing research. Please try to keep texts and calls to your child to a minimum during the school day.
9. Entrepreneurship Program
Each student will create a product that they will showcase at our entrepreneurship market in December. Please be prepared that most of the work will be completed at home from October to December. At school, we will teach the theory of entrepreneurship, but the practical side will be done at home with help from parents. This year students can showcase their existing businesses if they create a new SKU (product variation) to add to their product line.
10. Field trips
Follow this link to complete the field trip form.
11. Tennis
We would like to do the six-week tennis course with Coach Kerry Bacon at the old Recreation Center weekly in the fall, but we are in need of parent volunteers to transport our students and assist the coach with lessons. Please let me know if you would be willing and able to help.
12. Afterschool Care
In order to keep the Warner Robins Learning Center as our afterschool care provider, we need to support them and turn in our payments on time. I suggest that all parents enroll in the program so that aftercare is available for your child in the event of an emergency or delay. I will share the link to enroll as soon as it is available. Register here: https://www.wrlcga.com/upcoming-events
13. Middle and High School aged students
Each child in middle and high school will need a Georgia Futures account. Please go to this link and create a student account that your child has access to.
https://www.gafutures.org/create-account
The school name is Wynfield Christian Academy.
We will go over a lot of this information and answer any questions you have at our back-to-school meeting on July 13th at 2:00 p.m. Please make sure at least one family member is in attendance.
We look forward to a year filled with growth, discovery, and achievements. We can’t wait to embark on this educational journey with your family.
Please continue to have a blessed and safe summer.
Warm regards,
Tara
